Message From Principal

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Apex College London and to thank you for taking an interest in our institution.

In the immortal words of B.B. King; ‘The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”

And we aim to make sure that this is true for every student at Apex College. Every year most of our students progress either to university for a 3rd year full BA degree or they use their HND qualification to obtain a better job or to start or progress their own business.

As an example, one of our current (2017) students is an acclaimed London based music producer looking to progress his own business interests and in his own words, ‘The course has opened my mind to the possibilities for my future’.

We are located here in Elephant & Castle which is part of the South London Borough of Southwark. We are situated a few minutes walk from Elephant & Castle tube station which is so close to central London that you can literally walk it.

Elephant & Castle has a rich and interesting history and really encapsulates everything which is best about multi-cultural London. The entire area is currently (2017) undergoing a huge regeneration programme with £ billions being invested in local infrastructure. Building work is all around us.

The ethos within Apex College is very much focused on individual attainment within a relaxed environment. I truly believe that learning is fun and that the most effective learning takes place in an inviting and open classroom. This is not to say that our academic targets are anything less than the highest attainable, rather that we recognise and strive to provide the kind of environment in which these can be achieved. As a college we measure our success by your success and we are always open and ready to listen to ideas for our continued improvement.

Thank you again for your interest in Apex College and if you have questions or require information then I, or any member of the college staff, would be delighted to assist you.
